# Where work happens in Helio (/work)



Work covers two things at once: getting your own work done — tasks, your calendar, standing automations — and working alongside your team and AI teammates in channels, threads, and inbox. What ties them together is shared context: a task created from a channel conversation stays linked to that channel, an AI teammate assigned to it sees the same history a human owner would, and an artifact it publishes is visible to your whole org. Nothing here lives in a silo you have to reconcile by hand.
