# What does Helio cost? (/get-started/pricing)



Helio has three plans: Free, Pro, and Max — and Max comes in three usage tiers (5×, 10×, 50×) selected on a single Max card in the plan picker. Every plan includes a monthly credit balance that your AI teammates spend as they work — credits pay for model usage, and unused credits don't carry a separate ledger from anything you top up manually.

Task management and the workspace file system are included on every plan, Free included.

**Price per 1,000 credits** is the effective rate each tier pays for usage: a pay-as-you-go top-up costs $5.00 per 1,000 credits, and higher tiers include more credits per subscription dollar. If your workspace is on a legacy-generation plan, a **usage discount** (a percentage off what your teammates spend) may apply instead — it shows in the before/after amounts on Settings → Usage and in the plan-migration confirmation dialogs.

**Memory** is Basic on Free and Pro, Full on the Max tiers — Full memory keeps more context across sessions and conversations.

## Credit boosters [#credit-boosters]

Boosters are one-time credit top-ups, independent of your plan. Buy one any time from **Settings → Usage** (click **Buy credits**), whether or not you're on a paid plan, to add credits to your workspace balance without changing your subscription:

Booster credits land in the same workspace balance as your plan's included credits — there's no separate ledger to track.

## Redeem a code [#redeem-a-code]

If you have a redeem code, open **Settings → Usage**, click **Buy credits**, and enter it under &#x2A;*Have a redeem code?** to add credits to your workspace balance. A redeem code tops up credits only — it doesn't change or upgrade your plan. ## Manage your plan [#manage-your-plan]

Change your plan from **Settings → Billing** in the app (click your profile picture or name in the bottom-left sidebar, then **Settings**). Buy a booster or redeem a code from **Settings → Usage**.
