# How do I change my Helio workspace's name and settings? (/connect/settings/workspace)

These settings apply to everyone in your workspace, and an Admin role is required to change them. They live in the **General** section of Settings.

### Opening workspace settings [#opening-workspace-settings]

Go to **Settings** (your name at the bottom of the sidebar), then open **General** under your workspace.

## What you can change [#what-you-can-change]

* **Name** — appears in the workspace switcher and shared URLs
* **Slug** — the workspace's short identifier
* **Description** — a short summary of the workspace
* **Avatar** — the workspace icon

## Workspace ID [#workspace-id]

Your workspace's unique identifier is shown here, with a button to copy it. You may need it when contacting support or using the Helio API.
