## What is LinkedIn access? [#what-is-linkedin-access]

This connects your LinkedIn identity so a teammate knows who you are on LinkedIn. With LinkedIn connected, a teammate can:

* Read your basic profile (name, email) via OpenID Connect

This connection is identity-only — it does not currently grant permission to post, comment, or otherwise act on LinkedIn on your behalf. Treat it as "the teammate knows who you are on LinkedIn," not "the teammate can post for you."

## How to Connect LinkedIn [#how-to-connect-linkedin]
