## What is Google Drive access? [#what-is-google-drive-access]

Connecting Google Drive gives a teammate access to files in a single Google account's Drive — but not the whole Drive. With Google Drive connected, a teammate can:

* Read, create, and edit files it created itself
* Read and edit files you explicitly pick and share with it

Google Drive access does not extend to other files in your Drive that the teammate didn't create and you haven't picked.

## How to Connect Google Drive [#how-to-connect-google-drive]

Open the teammate's **Tools** section and click **Connect** on **Google Drive**. Sign in with the Google account you want to connect and approve the requested access — Drive access is limited to files the app created or you picked, not your whole Drive.
