## What is Google Contacts access? [#what-is-google-contacts-access]

Connecting Google Contacts gives a teammate read-only access to a single Google account's contacts. With Google Contacts connected, a teammate can:

* Read contacts saved in the account
* Read "other contacts" — people you've emailed or met but never explicitly saved

Google Contacts access is read-only: a teammate cannot add, edit, or delete contacts.

## How to Connect Google Contacts [#how-to-connect-google-contacts]

Open the teammate's **Tools** section and click **Connect** on **Google Contacts**. Sign in with the Google account you want to connect and approve the requested access.
