Connect Discord
Invite the Helio bot into a Discord server so an AI teammate can read and post in it.
What is Discord access?
Discord doesn't work like the other providers here — connecting it isn't "sign in with your Discord account," it's inviting a bot into a specific server. The identity Helio tracks is the guild (server) itself, not your personal Discord login. With Discord connected, a teammate can:
- Read and post messages in the channels of the server it was invited into
- Act with the permissions granted to the bot at invite time
How to Connect Discord
Open the teammate's Tools section and click Connect on Discord. Discord will prompt you to pick a server and approve the bot's permissions, then add the Helio bot to that server — this is a bot install, not a personal sign-in. The teammate's access is scoped to whichever server the bot was invited into, and the bot only sees the channels it has been given permission to see there.
